on mobility

Our bodies are our true home. They protect us in case of danger, help defend us from attack and house our precious minds. But what happens when the body is affected by everyday conditions; when it endures internal battles; when the roof blows off in stormy times?
It needs maintenance and care, maybe even new furnishing or complete renovation. The systemic approach to sports therapy and counselling is focused on human mobility of body and mind: We explore possibilities, we become agile, we move – in English, German and Greek.

Sports Therapy aims to maintain and enhance physical and mental health. Studies have shown: Physical exercise has a positive effect on periods of depression, sleep disorder and anxiety. It helps to replace or acompany traditional psychotherapy – and at the same time improves our physical condition.
Sports Therapy is also recommended in other occasions: in times of personal upheaval or hormonal changes (menopause, puberty, transition), it helps to achieve balance and stability. It contributes to difficulties of concentration and attention disorders and improves well-being in general.
Trained in Therapeutic Boxing, I integrate boxing as a therapeutic tool. And finally, I support athletes who want to achieve more.
I want to know more

Based on the assumption that each person can develop their own personal solutions, I work with your resources and capabilities. I encourage and support you to find the path that fits you best in times of crisis, transition or any other difficult situation you may find yourself in.
A key principle of the systems approach is the view that we live in social systems, which is particularly helpful when working with families – nuclear and non-nuclear – groups and individuals in romantic relationships. Through dialogue and experiential exercises, we will explore these together in short-term, solution-oriented therapy.
“And then I’m outside of myself, detached from the storm of emotional shit raging through my body. There is an un-speakable calm. It’s done now.”
